Difference between A and C + technique for elimination

Is the fundamental difference between A and C is "how" vs. "what"? I think I conflated A to be "these are the things that impact lichen growth" and moved on before checking C. If we get an answer that almost matches our anticipation, how do you recommend moving on to balance timing for harder questions, and thoroughly eliminating other answer choices?

Hi Rswafra, To your first point, I think that is the main difference. There is a secondary difference, as A is asking about the varying conditions that lichens encounter, and C is asking about specific conditions that encourage faster growth. As to balancing speed with being thorough, I think that if you see an answer choice that exactly matches your answer anticipation, you should first confirm that it says what you think it says. If it does, and you have indeed read it thoroughly, then I wouldn't be opposed to speeding through eliminating the other four. That said, I would generally prioritize accuracy over speed.
