I am having a really tough time with this one. I know that the right answer is D, but I can't seem to fit G into slot 5 and J into 3 without having M in slot 1 and L in slot 2, which violates one of the conditions. Can you explain to me how you would organize this one? Thanks!

    The way I set this up was: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ FGHJKLM 1. H_+_M / M_+_H 2. M-J 3. L-F-(GK) 4. L NOT 2 First, I placed J and then G. Knowing G is attached to K, I placed K. I know M has to be before J, so I tried putting that in 2. Then, I had to figure out where L and F go before GK, so I put L in one and F right before GK. The last slot fits H, which is over 2 away from M, so that works. Does this help? L M J F G K H __ __ __ __ __ __ __

    Why is A incorrect?

    Let's try A. If we place M first: M - J - - - - We've satisfied 2. We know L cannot be 2, so all of L-F-(GK) has to fit after J. M - J L F G K Then the only thing we have left is H for 2, but H, per rule 1, cannot be that close to M. So it can't work.
