Why would E be wrong?

Is it exaggerated too much, saying that it is unlikely to offend anyone in the general public, as opposed to C where it is only one person?

@MACZ, thanks for your question. Yes, you're exactly right. Both the passage and (C) make a prediction about a specific person's experience, whereas (E) makes a prediction about "anyone in the general public."
