How do you know when something is a Guru game? I understand that an entity will be restrictive, but I am confused on how she recognized this was a Guru so easily.

Hi Fable, thanks for the question. There might honestly be no good answer to this question in the sense that you may be looking at a guru game and not realize that one or two of the rules are so restrictive so as to make templates and solve for the possibilities. I think as you said, a good way to realize when a guru game is present is to look for very restrictive rules or rule interactions. The more patterns and deductions you are able to spot, the more easily you will notice a game to be guru. As for myself, when I ran through this game the first time, I did not solve it as a guru game, but rather I just made a few deductions at the beginning and went through question by question. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi @Ben, Unlike the video, I didn't do this as a Guru Game either, but the game itself took me a while and I made a couple of errors - the only deductions I was able to make was that Q couldn't go on Friday and K and N couldn't go on Wednesday (my thinking was that this would then be more of a back-end game). Are there any further deductions I could have made here, without turning this into Guru Game, that would have made questions 3 and 5 more intuitive (the CANNOT questions)?
