Improvement

So regarding my reading comprehension, it has improved more than what it used to be, however I bombed this passage and its frustrating because I thought I understood this passage. Can someone give me some useful feedback on how to improve when doing difficult passages such as this one. If this passage was not hard then it makes bombing it even worse....
