I am struggling with this question type ("Which question does this passage answer?" or some variation thereof); see also question 13 of this section. I am struggling because it seems as though the correct answer (i.e. the the correct question that the passage answers) points to a brief, almost inconsequential line in the passage rather than the main point of the passage.
In general, I tend to dislike all of the answer choices for these question types! Do you have any tips for attacking these question types - beyond read every detail provided in the passage closely?
Thanks in advance!

@lbblb3,
The important thing to keep in mind with this question type is that
the answer doesn't need to be from a significant part of the passage
that relates to its main point. We just need an answer choice that the
passage—and solely its content—allows us to answer. Don't worry about
whether or not the right answer is related to the main point. As long
as the passage gives us sufficient information to answer the question
in the answer choice, then that answer choice is the correct answer.
(D) says, "During Noguchi’s lifetime, was there any favorable critical
response to his creation of a positive-light sculpture?"
These questions are extremely hard to anticipate, so it's best to
review each choice and see if we can answer it based on the passage.
With (D), the final paragraph states that Noguchi's positive-light
sculpture had won critical recognition of his genius (lines 58-59), so
we could be able to answer the question posed in (D) with a "yes."
Does that make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!
