Please explain the argument and why answer choice C was the correct answer. I was truly confused by the answer choices on this question.

Our author thinks that since people are rarely ever able to solve problems by using a single discipline, we should abandon single discipline classes in favor of interdisciplinary ones. Like all argument we see, this is a bad one. The author seems to assume that because I am taking a math class and a physics class, I would not be able to use the math I have learned and apply it in a physics context. In other words, the author fails to consider that people are not stupid, and are able to apply things they learn about one subject in a different context.
To strengthen this bad argument, we would need to prove that my objection is not correct, which is what C does.
E slightly weakens the argument, it gives us reason to think that the classes the author advocated for would not be effective in reaching their goal.
