Why is C wrong?

I understand why A is correct but I do not understand why C is wrong. I chose C because I thought it was more specific than A. Obviously post modern critics are directed at upending tradition but the author seems to specifically imply a political aspect to the way that this is being done. In this regard, it was my view that the author of passage A, was taking a jab at the political nature of the methods by which a post modern writer attempted to upend tradition. I believe that the author of passage A, was arguing that the way in which the post modern author was attempting to upend tradition was in the service of a political agenda, rather than in the service of establishing truth or the understanding of a given topic.

Hi, I agree that C is more specific, and I do not disagree with your understanding of the passage and of A's goal. However, I have absolutely no idea how this relates to a political revolution. How would an attack on the moral underpinnings of plagiarism foster political revolution? I have no clue. In this case, C is too specific. The author is not arguing that their opponent is trying to foster revolution.
