Why B not C

Hi, we know the author must disagree with B because they suggest that we should display works of art that are dissimilar in the context of old short nonfiction films. Since they think it is ok in this context, they must not think that it is never ok. We cannot say for sure that the author would disagree that new exhibits should be informed by how past exhibitions chose to show works. In fact, the author does use the lessons of past exhibitions to argue for how they think films should be displayed.
