A vs C

While I understand why A is correct, I do not understand why C is incorrect. Is it because of the specifics of alternating between 2 shampoos?

    Hi RachP, C is incorrect partly because of the alternating that you mentioned. The stimulus tells us that it is pointless to match paint as the conclusion- however the conclusion of C is that you should alternate. In other words, the conclusion of the stimulus is that you shouldn't bother to do something, while the conclusion of C is that you should do two things.
