I got thrown off with the language of the second S & N statement in the question stem. Doesn't provided that mean necessary? You will appreciate something provided that you have done something else? I don't think I have come across this language in a question before this one.

    Hi Avif, thanks for the question. Provided that is a sufficient condition, despite its confusing phrasing! Let's look at the example above. You will appreciate something provided that you have done something else. Having done something else guarantees your appreciation for something. That is why it is sufficient. I hope this helps.
