I picked complete agreement, but then during Blind Review started doubting that and thinking that perhaps, because the author used so many quotes from Borges, that they were trying to mostly just neutrally represent Borges' opinions. Any tips on how to deal with tones in passages that have a lot of source quotes.

Hi, I would draw my attention to the end of the first paragraph, where the author does give us their view about the correctness of Borges' view.
