Is the difference between B and E the use of whenever in E ?

    @Kanyin, Happy to help. Let's take a look at (B) and (E). (E) says, "Most cars taken to Acme Automotive Electronics have electrical problems. Therefore, it is likely that Anastasia will take her car to Acme Automotive Electronics whenever she thinks it has electrical problems." The problem with (E) is the word "thinks." This is putting in a new type of problem into the equation (perception vs. reality). However, the premise in the argument in the stimulus is about the actual problems of cars taken to Acme. This conclusion, on the other hand, is about what Anastasia thinks is a car's problem. What she think isn't necessarily what reality is, so we can't consider these to be the same thing. And, because the stimulus didn't have a question of perception vs. reality, this doesn't match the flawed reasoning of the stimulus, so it's out. (B) says, "Most cars taken to Acme Automotive Electronics have electrical problems. Therefore, it is likely that Anastasia will take her car there if it has electrical problems." (B) is great. Most of the cars taken to Acme have electrical problems, but this doesn't mean that most of the cars with electrical problems are taken to Acme automotive. The argument is assuming that it does mean this, so the argument is committing the exact same type of flaw that we see going on in the stimulus. Does this make sense?     I selected the right answer based on the pattern but am having trouble pinpointing the actual flaw could you please explain?

    Evidence: Most pet owners who take allergy meds are allergic to pets. (Most PO+TAM are AP). (Most A+B are C). Chuck owns a pet (and thus is a pet owner). Conclusion: If Chuck develops an allergy to pets, he is likely to take allergy medications. (If PO + AP, then likely to be TAM). (If A and C, likely to be B). We see here that this is a logical fallacy that appears in the question. Now we take a look at (B). Evidence: Most of the cars taken to Acme Automotive Electronics have electrical problems. (Most C+AAE have EP). (Most A+B are C). Conclusion: If EP+C, then AAE. (If A and C, then likely to be B). Thus, we can see that there is a parallel between the two.
