    @Ryan-Mahabir, Let's look at the structure of the argument. The argument tells us that whether or no one can rightfully call a person's faithfulness a virtue depends in part on the object of that person's faithfulness. The rest of the argument provides specific examples to demonstrate the application fo this principle saying that resentment is a kind of faithfulness but no one considers resentment/ this type of faithfulness virtuous because it is faithfulness to hatred or animosities.
