Author B agrees with this statement and the evidence for this is found in the second and third paragraphs of passage B. Author B states that juries perform a useful function in assisting the legislature by indicating potential problems with relevant laws.
Answer choice A is incorrect because while author A would agree, we do not know author B's stance about this point.
