Question about "interpret"

Hi! I was confused about "interpret" – it seemed like Author B thought that juries could decide whether or not to apply a law and think critically, but I wasn't sure if this counted as interpreting it.

    I think that would count. In fact, I would argue that "think critically" is a pretty good synonym for interpret.
