Why is answer choice D incorrect here?

The stimulus states that ALL pythons that contract the disease die within 6 months. The contrapositive of this is that if a python didn't die within 6 months, then the python did not contract the disease. This logic is reflected in answer choice D. Very shocked to see that I got this wrong. Someone please explain. Logic: If PCD then D6M, not D6M then not PCD.

Hi Martin, Your reasoning about the contrapositive is in fact correct. However, this does not mean that the pricing is a result of the disease. Just because it is true that if a python does not die within six months then it did not have the disease does not indicate the reason for the pricing.
