How do you know what variable to start plugging in?

How does she know what variables to plug in to determine which will be the least restrictive? For example, I would have avoided P since that letter eliminates two other options. Like how does she know where to start, and how does she have the assurance that there's not another way to go about it that's less restrictive?

For minimization or maximization questions I think that is a strong approach. If we are trying to maximize the number of things, a variable that knocks out two others is probably not going to be in the maximum option

But she places P is in as the first variable after the floater variable of L. Yet following your strategy, we know that P knocks out two others. So what you're saying doesn't match what the lady in the video is saying. Can you please kindly clarify?
