Medication is NOT always more effective in treating patients with mental disorders than is psychotherapy.
Would this not destroy the argument ?

Hi, the argument pertains only to the subset of patients whose affliction stems from an imbalance. Medication could not be better for some other patients whose affliction stems from something else without it having any impact on the argument whatsoever.
