Hi @Manvir, (C) is incorrect because it is too strong of a claim. The author is not arguing that innate characteristics are 100% irrelevant to performance differences. In some sports such as crew, for example, height plays an important role, and height (as well as some other anatomical traits) are acknowledged by the author to be innate and genetic, not trained.
