A, B, and C

It seems the reasons given for why A and C are wrong would also apply to B. If the reason the two are wrong is because there may be other things on the menu that would make him sick that aren't the hot peppers, wouldn't that also apply to B where he eats the chicken, a dish he did not eat in the stimulus?
