Why R?

I got this right, but I do not understand why R has to be caged if S is selected. Couldn't R and S be exhibited together and the rest of the birds be caged?

If s is in, then w must be out, so the only female that am be paired with S is T. This means that there are no more female parakeets that can be in, so the other two male parakeets must be caged, since there are no females for them to be displayed with.
