I was also between A and C but I couldn't comment on Ava's post. As well, in the passage the author even makes reverences to the problems of using old methods, and then turns this around into how some artists make this into an advantage. To me this seemed like one of the strongest cases where they were advocating something without using should/will/ought or some other prescriptive word. Should I make it an almost essential rule that unless they use a prescriptive word, I rule out "making a case"?
