What makes c a better answer than d?

I thought d was more specific as the passage mentions that the way they share the same lines is through the same endings?

    Hello @kassidee, Note that "despedida" is the word for the entire closing verse (line 42). What does this closing verse contain? The first and third lines are standard, but the second and fourth lines vary depending on the subject matter and the rhyme. Therefore, the despedidas of two different songs will not be entirely the same. This is why D is incorrect. However, lines one and three of the two despedidas will be the same, which is why C is correct.
