Let's take a look at (B) and (E).
(B) says, "West Nile virus is most common in those parts of North
America with the highest density of mosquitoes."
The problem with (B) is that the argument doesn't ever discuss
mosquito density. Thus, (B) has no support, as it could be the case
that the West Nile virus is most common in areas where infected birds
and mammals are the most common. Thus, (B) is out.
(E) says, "West Nile virus was not carried to North America via an
infected person."
Because an infected human being can't infect another mammal, bird, or
mosquito with the West Nile virus, it's impossible that a human is
responsible for bringing the West Nile Virus to North America. Thus,
(E) is most strongly supported by the stimulus, so it's the correct
answer choice.
