Can you explain why it isn't C? I was stuck between C and D, and ultimately chose C. Doesn't an inadequate sample size weaken that advertisement? I understand why D is also a good pick - because it shows that there is another factor (not taste) that causes people to like that one brand over others. I thought C and D were equally good choices, so I got confused there.

    Hi, C doesn't actually show there is a sample size issue. C is describing how every survey ever conducted works: a survey asks the opinions of a small but representative subset (but large enough to make statistical inferences) of a population to infer things about the whole population. We only have sample size issues when we are explicitly told the size is very small.
