Hi, we are being asked what must be true for X's argument to hold. A does not have to be true. Perhaps there were serious conservation policies in the past that failed. C does have to be true. If using these plants and Amina's as a source of chemicals drives them to extinction, then they are no longer available to use, and the argument falls apart. E does not have to be true. Even if many have been saved, it is still possible that many are still going extinct, and could have been used for medicine if they had not gone extinct.
