How do we know when we need to diagram?

On the video we diagrammed every question but I can not distinguish when to diagram and when to not? Thank you!

    This is a great question! I find myself not knowing when to diagram certain questions as well.

    I could be wrong, but I think because there isn't clear sufficient and necessary language there would be no diagram. Words like "all", "every", "some" would warrant a diagram.

    Hi, This is more of an art than a science, but generally, I would only diagram arguments that are heavily sufficient and necessary. You may want to start off by diagraming more, and then diagraming less as you become more confident and comfortable.
