I diagrammed the stimulus as: PLP --> GIPS or SO PLP --> ICV Answer choice A I diagrammed as: SO some ICV I understand A is the correct answer choice. To clarify, if i diagrammed in simple terms, is it ALWAYS the case that if: All (A's are B's) and all (A's are C's) then (some B's are C's) and vice versa? Thanks in advance for a response.

    Hi Dfalero, I think the first statement is not conditional, but a some statement. Since we know that at least one PLP is an SO, and all PLPs ICV, so at least one SO ICV. That said, it would always be the case that if All As are B, and all As are C, then some Bs are C.

    Hello Emil, I diagrammed this question the same way as Danny. Assuming it was a MBT sufficient and necessary question. I don't see the quantifier language in the first statement. Do you have a tips for how to better pinpoint this next time?

    Hi, I think this can happen a lot when we have language that is not as obvious. In general, we have quantifiers whoever we are talking about parts of a whole, or groups that have some overlap. Here we have overlapping groups. In the group of people who are in LP, there are some people who are GIPS and people who are SO. Note that we do not have any S/N language.
