Interpretation ?

We can infer within the bounds of common sense for most strongly supported questions. However, in this question, we don't need to since the correct answer is really a restatement of the conclusion. The argument on the whole is that there was a shift in historical writing, and this shift as the conclusion says, has impeded our ability to learn from history.
