Hi @Silvia, Thanks for the question! The passage does say that surges in the proportion of gas to liquids causes loss of head around lines 25-26, this is true. But the thing is that the example before of 60% liquid to 70% gas is just an example. What’s really important is the delta (the difference), we don’t actually know anything about the original proportions. It could be 51% gas, 39% liquid, and 10% solid for all we know; in that case, it wouldn’t be largely in the form of a liquid (and there are also questions about what exactly “largely” means here). The loss of “head” part is just talking about sudden changes in gas content, but doesn’t tell us anything about the original gas vs. liquid vs. solid content of the crude oil. And nowhere else in the passage do we learn this information; thus, there’s no support suggesting that crude oil has to be moved to shore largely in the form of a liquid. Hope this helps!
