Why not E?

I originally chose D but switched to E because I thought E weakened the argument more. I'm confused... for reference E ends with: "would only replace the normal strain if released in sufficient numbers"

Hi, I don't think that E is a problem. If anything, it seems like an obvious truth. Of course a treatment will only work if a great enough dose is used. This is no reason not to do the treatment. E doesn't give us any reason to think that the altered bacterium would be a bad or ineffective treatment. It only tells us that we would need enough of them to work, which seems true of any intervention. D however clearly shows why the a,texted bacterium may be unsafe.
