Explanation on choice B (haven't seen any of the previous ones that are answered)

Hello, I also was not able to clearly eliminate choice B based on the statement: "and although in the southern United States only 2 percent of slaves worked on plantations where more than a hundred slaves worked..." (line 25-28). I noticed that none of the previous thread asking about B was answered, so could somebody please explain the elimination process for choice B?
