I was confused by the wording of this question. Was it looking for something else that the author could have the same objection to?

    Hi @heidiz, Yes, the wording of the question is a bit confusing. Out of the following hypotheticals in the answer choices, we're looking for the one to which we can best apply the author's objection against the second hypothesis, which is that it depends on extraterrestrial intervention. Thus, we're ideally looking for an explanation that relies somehow on extraterrestrial intervention. Hope this helps!
