Lines 45-51 talk about a serotonin like drug that prolongs its action and suppresses carb snacking. Lines 59-61 say people who don't crave carbs feel sleepy after eating a high-carb meal, so why is C not the right answer?

Serotonin seems able to reduce snacking. So, a drug that inhibits the action of serotonin should have the opposite effect, and lead to more snacking, rather than less.
