I thought that, as lines 51-55 states, neurotransmitter other than serotonin can induce carbohydrate intake, which is why I picked D and not B.

    Hi @Flavio, thanks for your question. See lines 32-34: "The level of serotonin in the brain in turn affects the amount of carbohydrate an individual chooses to eat." Paragraph 4 (Lines 45-63) is about "people who crave carbohydrates"--not about what causes those craving in the first place. This paragraph discusses the effects of various drugs on the already-existing carbohydrate craving. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Lines 32-34 do not provide enough information on the relationship between the level of serotonin and carbohydrate craving. Where in the passage does it define this relationship? I chose D based on lines 51-55.

    In other words, is the relationship between the level of serotonin and carbohydrate craving a positive relationship or a negative one? The vast majority of the passage focuses on neurotransmission.
