We are told that King would have found ideas closer to his own in other transcendentalist writings, like those by Emerson and Fuller. @shunhe But what about this quote from the passage, "Thoreau refused to pay taxes, but he did not hope by his action to force a change in national policy. While he encouraged others to adopt similar protests, he did not attempt to mount any mass protest action against unjust laws." Doesn't this indicate (E) is incorrect?
