In the explanation she indicates Italian cannot be in 1. I don't see that rule nor understand where it's implied?

    No Norwegian in 2 or 4. Duh.... Sorry.

    Hi, we can deduce this from the first two rules. Since we know that n can't go in 2 or 4, I can't go in 1 or 3, since every I is immediately followed by an N.
