How do we know when to set up a game with all possibilities?

Hello LSAT Max! I wasted more time than I should have setting up this game with all different possibilities of what appliances could be in/out, go together, etc. I understood the deductions and restrictions, and with V being so restrictive, I made all these scenarios because I thought that's what strict restrictions indicate to do. How do I know when to thoroughly set up various scenarios or not? Thank you!
