I took rule one to mean that no one city could receive the same rank in the criteria as another, for example, Tidestown could not be both 1st in climate and 1st in friendliness. Would that have been true of the rule read that "for ALL three towns . . . "? I just want to know how to distinguish that and not make the same mistake. Thank you.

    @zcrabill the key is paying attention to the exact language set forth by the rules of the game. Notice the rule here: "For each of the three criteria, none of the five towns receives the same ranking AS ANY OTHER TOWN does." This rule is about two towns having the same ranking as each in the same criteria. Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    I am having a little trouble deciding on which variables to use as the line and which ones to use as the ones we are placing in those lines. Do you have any tricks for knowing which variables to use as the lines and which ones to keep up top to be placed?
