what about N in Suderton?

Hi @Maybeillgetlucky, Thanks for the question! The problem with your suggestion is that if we place N and only N at Souderton, that means we place everyone else at Randsborough. But we know that based on rule 2, if J is at Randsborough (which he is, since everyone except N is at Randsborough), then O has to be at Souderton. But we put O in Randsborough, so this is a contradiction, so it can't be the case that only N is at Souderton. Hope this helps!

I thought this too with the assumption that not all the doctors had to be placed (I've ran into an issue like this once or twice by trying to place all the variables and because it never said that it had to use all variables i have developed a lack of reliance that the LSAT is implying to use them all). How would you suggest deciphering between logic games that do not use all the variables and ones that do. Because if this were the case for this problem you would have a minimum of one.

Hi @hanfan, The first sentence of the game tells us that all must be placed. We are told that each of the six doctors is at exactly one clinic. So, it is not possible that any of them are not at one of the two clinics
