If Kim and Paulo do not play the same sport that means that Kim plays tennis and Paulo plays golf, which is the same answer as B. That is why I ruled out B. Can someone explain this?

In this scenario, we know that P plays golf, because if P plays tennis then O cannot be the highest ranking player. This means that P and L must be together, so B is correct.
E is incorrect since we could come up with an example where K and P do play the same sport. For example:
Tennis: O, S, T
Golf: L, P K
