Why is C not an option for a correct answer?

Since rule #5 tells us that Shigeru ranks lower than Oliver but higher than Maricella, that would make the order O > S > M. So Oliver also couldn't be ranked the lowest, correct?

@MissBoss03 that is not correct. Rule 5 states: If Maricella plays tennis, then Shigeru play tennis, Shigeru ranking lower than Oliver but higher than Maricella. We would diagram this rule as follows: Mt ➡️ St (O > S > M) not St (i.e. Sg) ➡️ not Mt (i.e. Mg) So, you are correct that if M plays tennis, then O cannot rank lowest for tennis. However, what if M does not play tennis? Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
