Hi, I am having difficulty understanding the deduction that because there are 3 Q,R,S, one must be exhibited. May I please get additional explanation on how we made that deduction?

@Masood, Per the rules, we only have two cages for the birds that are not exhibited, and no bird can be caged together with a bird of the same sex and the same type, meaning two male parakeets cannot be together in the same cage, and since we only have two cages, it is impossible to place all 3 parakeets, thus at least one of them must be exhibited. Does this make sense?

Irina, Thank you! That clarified it. I was fixated on the exhibit and had lost track of the fact that we have two cages for the birds not to be exhibited.
