Why B is Incorrect compare to A

So I am a little bit confused why A not B B)G>K>F(Just one place left) so if we have to chose F>Q so Just one variable And the rule said that if you select G>R, so It will be correct We have just one spot left and it will be R What am I missing

    @Kostey80, If the chairperson is a homeowner, it means exactly two representatives are selected from homeowners - P Q R S and 3 representatives from tenants - F G J K. Let's compare (A) and (B) (A) If G is selected, Q is also selected. We know that if G is selected, K must also be selected. We cannot select J & M because both of them must be selected and we have only one tenant spot left, thus F must be selected. G K F are all the tenants that must be selected. The rules then tell us that if F is selected, Q must also be selected. Thus, at least one of the homeowners must be Q per answer choice A. (B) If G is selected, R is also selected We can use the same inferences to establish that: G K F must be selected from the tenants and Q must be selected from homeowners The other homeowner could be any of P/ R/S, since either of them could be selected, we cannot say that R must always be selected in this scenario. I think you might have misconstrued the answer choice saying if G -> R as a rule, while it is a must be true inference, not a rule. Can we conclude that every time we pick G and the chairperson is a homeowner, R will also be picked? No, because it is also possible to pick R S or P along with Q, hence (B) is incorrect.
