How come KJ could not be placed in spot 1 or 2 of the sequence line.

Why did the lady in the video put KJ in spot 6/7, I feel as though the video did not give me a full complete understanding of how she sequenced for this question. I am confused as to how she did the sequencing because I put K/J in spot 1,2 L on 3 and N on 5. Please explain

    @achora, happy to help! We begin by placing L in spot 3 as the question calls for. __ __ L __ __ __ __ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Rule #3 says: L(3) -> N(5). Therefore, we place N in spot 5. __ __ L __ N __ __ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Rule #4 says that P is either in spot 5 or spot 2. Since we already placed N in spot 5, we know that P cannot be in spot 5. Therefore, P must be in spot 2. __ P L __ N __ __ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Rule #2 says that M precedes P. Since P is in spot 2, the only spot in which M can come before P is spot 1. M P L __ N __ __ 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Rule #1 says that we must have a KJ block. The only open two consecutive spaces are 6 and 7, so we have to place the KJ block there. M P L __ N K J 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 The only variable we have left to place is O, and the only spot left open is spot 4. M P L O N K J 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any other questions!
