It is clear that Iris must be placed on Monday, as long as Kate is scheduled for Friday. However, rule three states that, "if Nancy is scheduled for Tuesday, Iris is scheduled for Monday." Since Iris is scheduled for Monday, isn't it a necessity that Nancy is scheduled for Tuesday, automatically placing Harry on Wednesday? This would allow answer choice B or C to be correct.

No, we cannot infer that N is scheduled for Tuesday just because I is scheduled for Monday, this is a logical fallacy known as affirming the consequent. The only proper logical inference of N (T) - > I (M) is its contrapositive ~ I (M) -> ~ N(T). If I is not scheduled for Monday, then we can conclude that N is not scheduled for Tuesday.
For this question, I H N V K and I N H V K are two possible options, thus (C) must be true and (B) could be true but not must be true.
