Can you please explain this question? I had the answer choices down to B, D, and E but I would like to know what makes B the correct answer. Thank you.

    (B) is 100% supported by the statements of the human resources director. To see how, let's breakdown the stimulus first. (1) Only SOME recent university graduates consider work environment an important factor in choosing a job RUG-some-WEIF WEIF-some-RUG (2) They ALL consider salary an important factor RUG ==> SIF not SIF ==> not RUG (3) The only workers who consider stress level an important factor in choosing a job are a FEW veteran employees VE-some-SLIF SLIF-some-VE (4) EVERY recent university graduate considers vacation policy an important factor RUG ==> VPIF not VPIF ==> not RUG We can conclude "at least some of the people who consider work environment an important factor consider salary an important factor" (i.e. WEIF-some-SIF) by combining (1) & (2) as follows: WEIF-some-RUG ==> SIF We can conclude "at least some of the people who consider work environment an important factor consider vacation policy an important factor" (i.e. WEIF-some-VPIF) by combining (1) & (4) as follows: WEIF-some-RUG ==> VPIF (B) states, "At least some of the people who consider work environment an important factor in choosing a job consider salary an important factor as well." This is the deduction we made by combining (1) & (4), so (B) must be true and (B) would be the correct answer. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
