I'm watching the video explanation on this question and I'm confused. So, I understand that G>P and it's consecutive, so it's GP in a box. And I understand that G > I and R. So that means that the sequence would be GP>IR or GP>RI. But, I don't understand how it's possible for I/R to be the same grade as P because doesn't that directly contradict the sequence?

@kswope No, this does not necessarily contradict the rules. We know that G > P, G > I, and G > R. We know that GP are adjacent and IR/RI are adjacent. However, we do not necessarily know that P > I or P > R. It could very well be the case that G > P which is equal to I/R and before the other variable (R/I).
This could look like:
G - P
R/I - I/R
This can be tricky to see in the video because of the note "GP > IR/RI." This was annotated in such a way to remind students that GP are adjacent. However, only G needs to be higher than either language. Instead of GP > IR/RI, think of it as G > RI/IR but remember that G must be immediately before P.
