Why wouldn’t D be right as well?

    Yeah, I am a little confused by the explanation. If courses "E" and "I" have to go in spot grade D for the sake of the question, why would he receive a grade "D" in History?

    I thought the same thing at first and then realized that "E must have a higher score than H" as the 3rd rule requires H to also be failing if E is a D.
